Overview

The offices of Lewis Brisbois are seeking a Credit & Collections Analyst. The Credit & Collections Analyst is responsible for daily collection efforts based on assigned portfolio. This position will coordinate/collaborate/consult with billing attorneys, various billing teams, financial services teams and management related to concerns and issues related, but not limited to AR. In addition, they will develop/prepare reports upon requests and participate in data analysis on assignment; manage ad-hoc projects as required; make recommendations for process improvements and contribute to the development of guidelines on assignment; project management on assignment including project planning & initiation, tracking progress of ongoing project(s) and cases/tickets.

Responsibilities

Job Specifications/Qualifications:

  • An Associate Degree required (A Bachelor's Degree in business administration, finance and/or related field preferred) 
  • At least three (3) years of progressive collections experience working in a professional services or legal environment required
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including but not limited to pivot tables, VLookups/XLookups
  • Project management experience
  • Knowledge of legal and ethical rules
  • Understand best practices surrounding collections. Knowledge of Federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, California Collections law and legal processes
  • Experience use of a collection management system a plus

Minimum Salary

USD $85,000.00/Yr.

Maximum Salary

USD $105,000.00/Yr.
