Overview

The offices of Lewis Brisbois are seeking an experienced Financial Systems Analyst I with a strong background in law firm financial systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience working within an Aderant-based AM Law 100 firm and possess proven technical skills in ASP.NET, C#, SQL, JavaScript, and SSRS. This role will involve supporting, optimizing, and enhancing financial systems, ensuring seamless integration and high performance to meet the firm’s financial and operational needs.

Responsibilities

Job Requirements/Specifications:

 

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a law firm environment, specifically with financial systems and software.
  • Proven experience with Aderant or similar legal financial software.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL (especially stored procedures) and extensive experience in database management, data warehousing and optimization.
  • Experience with ChromeRiver for expense and invoice management.
  • Proficient in ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, Powershell and related development technologies.
  • Strong experience with Power BI, SSRS and Report Builder for financial reporting.
  • Experience in SQL, with the ability to write complex queries, stored procedures, and views for large datasets.
  • Experience using Subversion (SVN) or other source control software.
  • Understanding of financial processes in a law firm setting, including time and billing, invoicing, expense management, and financial reporting.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
