Overview

The Los Angeles, CA office of Lewis Brisbois, a full-service AmLaw 100 law firm, is seeking a National Docket Manager to be responsible for the strategic leadership, oversight, and execution of the firm’s docketing and calendaring function across all offices. This role ensures the accurate and timely management of critical deadlines, court filings, and procedural requirements in compliance with federal, state, and local rules. The National Docket Manager will act as a trusted advisor to firm management and practice/office leaders on HR strategy, workforce planning, policy interpretation and risk mitigation, providing clear, practical guidance aligned with firm values and legal requirements.

Responsibilities

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; paralegal certification preferred. 
  • 8–10+ years of docketing experience in a law firm or legal environment. 
  • 3–5+ years of supervisory or management experience, preferably across multiple locations.
  • Extensive knowledge of U.S. court rules, procedures, and calendaring requirements.  
  • Oversee quality control processes, including audits and deadline verification checks. 
  • Administer docketing and calendaring software (e.g., Aderant (Milana/CompuLaw), American LegalNet/MA3000 (CourtAlert, eDockets), or equivalent).

Minimum Salary

USD $110,000.00/Yr.

Maximum Salary

USD $135,000.00/Yr.
