Overview

The Fort Lauderdale office is seeking an Immigration Case Manager to join our Immigration team. Qualified candidates will have at least two years of experience as a legal assistant or paralegal with a focus on immigration law (preferably the business side) and be highly organized and capable of managing numerous cases efficiently. Must also have excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective client and team interactions.

Responsibilities

•   Collaborate effectively with attorneys, support staff, and clients

•   Manage immigration cases ensuring all necessary documents are properly collected and uploaded to the firm’s document management system and deadlines are met

•   Maintain open and responsive communication with clients, providing updates on their cases

•   Draft immigration forms

•   Help prepare and submit immigration applications to government agencies, tracking their progress

•  Assist clients in gathering necessary documentation and information for their cases

•  Handle various administrative tasks, and maintain electronic case files

•  Candidate must be detailed oriented, organized and a team player.

 

All work will be supervised by an Attorney; this is more of an administrative role with an opportunity to develop into a long-term career.
