Overview

Lewis Brisbois, an Am Law 100 firm with 1500+ attorneys and 55 locations servicing 40+ practice areas, is seeking a Regional Lateral Attorney Recruiter to join our team. The Regional Recruiter is responsible for identifying and recruiting lateral attorneys as requested by Managing Partners, Administrative Partners, and the National Director of Recruiting. This position can sit in any of our office locations.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract top lateral attorney talent.
  • Source and identify potential candidates through various channels, including LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing platforms.
  • Conduct initial screenings and interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit with the firm's culture and needs.
  • Collaborate with practice group leaders and hiring partners to understand hiring needs and develop tailored recruitment plans.
  • Maintain and update candidate databases.
  • Stay informed about market trends and competitor hiring practices.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in legal recruitment, preferably within a law firm or legal search firm.
  • Strong understanding of the legal market and lateral attorney recruitment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with candidates, hiring partners, and external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously.
  • High level of professionalism and discretion.
  • Proficiency in recruitment software and applicant tracking systems.
