Overview

Lewis Brisbois, an Am Law 100 firm with 1500+ attorneys and 55 locations servicing 40+ practice areas, is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to join the recruiting team. This position reports directly to the National Director of Recruiting. The Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for organizing and tracking data, related to the internal processes at the regional level to support lateral attorney recruitment and staffing recruitment throughout the Firm. A high level of discretion along with excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required due to regular contact with lateral candidates, staff candidates, outside recruiters and Firm leadership on constantly changing hiring demands. The ability to proactively identify, evaluate and sort information and candidates using social media platforms and internal resources is essential to the success of this position.

Responsibilities

The following list of essential functions is not exhaustive, and other duties may be assigned in addition to those listed. The items listed are considered daily functions associated with this position. 

 

  • Provides direct administrative recruiting support to the Regional Recruiter
  • Placing, renewing, and removing career ads for the Firm on various social media platforms, law schools job boards and LinkedIn while ensuring use of standardized language and formats as outlined by the Firm
  • Using established policies for initial consideration, this position will monitor and review resumes for interview consideration
  • Redirecting candidates to appropriate offices and/or departments if the candidate is better suited for that office/department
  • Organizing, verifying, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all data presented
  • Run various reports identifying activity, job posts results, and other metrics and data in order to assist recruiting leadership in evaluating the best practices for hiring
  • Monitor competitor career pages for data and salary information that could be of interest to the Firm
  • Tracking projects and deadlines with input from a variety of cross-functional teams
  • Scheduling interviews, taking calls, and responding to emails related to hiring
  • Analysis and monitoring of local markets to identify firms that are possible targets for candidate recruitment (IE: downsizing firm, retiring leadership)
  • Communicating with outside lateral recruiters and/or providing information as requested to MP’s, AP’s, OA’s and department leaders

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Advanced computer skills and familiarity with recruitment techniques and platforms
  • Attention to detail, along with the ability to multi-task
  • Proactive work ethic
  • Ability to adapt based on shifting priorities
  • Proficient using Microsoft office applications
  • Posses a high level of confidentiality and discretion
  • Maintain reliable consistent attendance in the office
  • 2+ years of relevant recruiting experience is preferred
  • Experience in a legal/law firm environment is preferred

Minimum Salary

USD $60,000.00/Yr.
